Table Olives

Table olives are sold only in winter. (Scheduled to be sold until the end of December.)
Table Olives keep the salty taste of the olive itself. They are crunchy pickles.
Although vinegar is popular for pickling olives in Europe, on Shōdo Island brine is used instead. For this reason, these olives have a very light taste.
The fresh, young fruits are pickled as soon as they are picked, preserving the olives' lovely green color.
